Changes and Upgrades• Site administrators can now view and edit the forum user list of forums, even if they are not themselves a moderator of that forum.
• Both the [image] and [user] tags now have two alternate forms: they can be used as a single tag, or as a normal one. In both cases, [tagname]something[/tagname] is equivalent to [tagname="something"] (using the default parameter).
• Added [img] as an alias for the [image] tag.
• Added an optional "alt" parameter to the [image]/[img] tag.
• Fixed the [dash], [bullet], and [user] tags on the chat.
• Made tag aliases more robust, but you can no longer mix multiple aliases with one another.
• Added an [email] tag, which creates a mailto: link for the provided address. Accepts both [email]someone@domain.com[/email] and [email=someone@domain.com]John Doe[/email] forms.
• Added a [sarcasm] tag (Ctrl-Z). This tag does not make text look any different, but a user will be alerted to the sarcasm if they hover over the text.
• Added a link to the forum search on the main forums page, which clears search options for a new search.
• Added options to the preferences page to ignore sidebar and splash page updates for any forum or type of site content. Items will still be displayed on the splash page, but they will not be shown as "new" and will not normally be part of the main splash content.
• Added a link on the view thread page to ignore that thread, preventing it from showing up on the sidebar and giving it lesser status on the splash page.
• Revised how chat colors are stored, and added a new chat/font color option (gold).
• Fixed a bug where hidden content was counted on a user's profile for the "created content" table.
• Fixed a bug where new comments on blogs and reviews were not reported on the sidebar.
• Fixed a bug on the chat where ending a tag option with a strange character would cause the chat update to fail.
