Leaderboards!

Mood: Good
Tags: Development
Site Version: 3.03
It turns out the reward system is going to be a bit more complicated than I had hoped, but in the spirit of adding some kind of numbers to have petty squabbles over, I've added leaderboards and scoring to the network. There has been a significant change to how item views are tracked, which won't affect how anyone uses the site, but does impact the scoring a bit. It should all be sorted out in a little while anyway. And before anyone asks, yes, you can turn off the leaderboards. For further details, view the notes below.

Changes and Upgrades
• Changed profile views to be site-specific (so views on another site won't count), and made assumptions about which site previous views were made from.
• All statistics related to views or rating are now processed by view or rating time, instead of content creation time (previous data now conforms to this sytem, but not with any degree of accuracy).
• Added leaderboards, see the updated FAQ for details on how they work and how score is determined.
• Added an option to the preferences page to hide leaderboards from the splash page.
• Updated the way statistics are handled on the user profile page.
