Yes, it's another set of updates on consecutive days. What can I say, certain people can't handle not having their threads atop the active thread list. 
Anyway, two big changes here. First, the points system has been revised, and you now get points for voting on or rating content. Second, the preference setup for the splash page has been changed. For the most part this just means that new content (including threads with new posts) will always appear at the top of the recent content list like they should have in the first place. But the active thread list has also been revised, and now takes into account not only the base post rating, but the ratings of responses in the thread, the number of posts in the thread, and when they were made. This way truly "active" threads will generally be found up top.
